The virtual model complements, reduces or replaces extensive onsite monitoring. In a matter of a few weeks, N2O root causes and emissions can be assessed under various operational conditions. While the CFD-N2O model captures the 3D space, our dynamic model accounts for the long-term patterns. No onsite N2O data is needed to get started.

Less uncertainty and more effective measurement campaigns

Emission quantification based on local onsite measurements knows significant uncertainty, which raises the question of 'monitoring ROI' (i.e. the confidence obtained in return of the investment). We help you deciding where to measure and how to smartly configure campaigns. We augment measurement data and can dramatically improve data accuracy and interpretability. Our aim is to also keep any monitoring campaigns as lean and short as possible.

An exponentially growing application of our 3D and dynamic modelling solution is the greenfield design or redesign of treatment plants: how to account for minimal N2O fomation already in the design stage. This new paradigm has been succesfully applied at multiple treatmentplants in Europe.
